Says Florence was 5/12 years old and in the column, to the right--born in January.
Looks like it says 9 children, 8 survived, which means that Florence, being the only one not listed died before 1900; however, the writing is so bad that it could say 9/9 and Florence being 28-30 decided to stay in Indiana.
